BlastArt
This is a unique aspect of our business where we create beautiful sculptures as the by-product of a blast. These sculptures are formed predominantly from mild and stainless steel. Due to the way they are formed each of the sculptures produced is unique, created entirely by explosives and will carry an individual serial number. The scale of these sculptures is entirely up to the client.
We are pleased to now offer a range of pieces for sale. The pieces listed below are just examples of what is possible to create. We can offer pieces in a number of finishes, from polished stainless steel to rustic mild steel.
Feel free to contact us with your requirements. We can produce custom pieces made to your specifications. Please also contact us if you wish more pictures and further details.

These beautiful sculptures are made from one of the most energetic substances known to man: high explosives.
Fashioned by placing a small quantity of liquid explosives into the top of the cylinder, upon detonation the effect as seen here is produced. We have a variety of finishes available including nickel, copper and chrome plating. They can be polished or left with a natural finish.
The BlastArt sculptures can be displayed in a number of ways, including as vases, as can be seen in the picture on the right, and as trophies, and may be personalised with an engraving.
Contact us now to arrange an afternoon for a friend, loved one or a group as part of corporate leisure activities, creating your own sculptures.

When detonated the plastic explosives form a cutting jet which produces the effect seen here.

These unique pieces started life as part of oil extraction wellheads in the North Sea. The effects you can see were produced as the result of large liquid explosive charges detonated below the sea bed in around 150m of water.
The first smaller piece is part of an annular pipe, whereas the larger piece contains all three annular pipes and was cut just short of the wellhead, and has a particularly nautical feel, the petaled ends somewhat resembling a humpback whale's fins.
These pieces can be mounted as you wish; feel free to contact us with any queries. |
