Blast Design Fireworks came a close second to China at the World Fireworks Championship held in Blackpool in September. Over a quarter of a million spectators watched the heats, held at the city's Central Promenade, where teams from Germany and Canada also battled for the winning spot. Blast Design Fireworks are ‘2007 Scottish National Fireworks Champions!’

Blast Design Fireworks won the first ever Scottish National Fireworks Championships on 26th May 2007, qualifying is to represent Scotland at the British Fireworks Championships in Plymouth on the 14th and 15th of August 2007, where Blast Design Fireworks were voted third best display team in the UK. Many thanks to everyone who came along and to those who have supported us along the way to winning these prestigious titles.

As one would expect November and New Year are the busiest times of the year for us. Here are reviews of just two of our recent displays:

Coupar Angus - Larghan Park, Nov 4th

Largest turnout yet, we treated the residents of coupar angus and surrounding villages to a breathtaking display, excellent reviews from all who attended. See pictures in gallery.

Perth, South Inch- Nov 5th

Returning for our second year, we fired a spectacular James Bond themed display, including music from the most recent film, Quantum of Solace as well as the classic bond tunes. Record crowds of 8000+people turned out to see the 24 minute display. Many decribed it as "the greatest fireworks display they had ever seen". Pictures will be uploaded into the Gallery soon.

We have also recently performed displays for sporting events around Scotland including the Martin Currie Rob Roy Challenge, the Artemis Great Kindrochit Quadrathon and many other events throughout the year.
